The centre of Perugia is focused on the pedestrianised Corso Vannucci named after a local painter. There are some beautiful historic buildings with magnificent architecture including the Oratorio di San Bernardino and the 15th century Duomo. Many people visit for the Archaeological Museum which features a lot of locally excavated Etruscan artefacts. The Palazzo del Priori is one of the most beautiful structures in Perugia and is one of the best public buildings in Italy. The Perugia Chocolate Festival is not to be missed and is a wonderful celebration in the city each autumn.
