“When in Rome, do as the Romans do!” What do they do? Enjoy life. La Dolce Vita. So throw a coin the fountain. Cruise on the Tiber River. Sit for a while on the Spanish Steps, then saunter down for some shopping. Stop for a gelato. For activity, visit the Colosseum and the Pantheon when you are in Rome. For dining, find a great little restaurant in the neighborhood of Trastevere. And Rome has so many churches on every street that you could make a trip just of visiting the most famous ones, including of course a visit to the Vatican.
