San Remo

San Remo is a popular and pleasant resort with a faded elegance. The town has seen all kinds of celebrities stay in the hotels here including Albert Nobel and Edward Lear. The Corsa Imperatrice is the palm lined avenue on the sea front that is perfect for a walk or to watch the world go by. Many people come for the Casino Municipale that dominates the promenade. In summer there is a flower market here and excursions to the cliff top tow of San Romolo with its views across the ocean.
