Moldova

Moldova is a quaint and colourful country hidden away like a precious gem in Eastern Europe. The land-locked nation is a delightful place to visit and get to know the locals. The capital, Chişinău, is a particularly interesting city, and days spent exploring will fill you with wonder for the place once known as the ‘garden of the Soviet Union’. People in Moldova will tell you that you should not leave until you sample some of their wine, which is of a great quality. Wine-making is a traditional pursuit in the country, with a great deal of history attached to it, and those who make wine are very proud of their product.
