You will remember nostalgically the vintage yellow trams that climb up and down the narrow streets of Lisbon. You can take one to the top to visit the St. George’s Castle, which is on top of the highest hill in Lisbon, and have fantastic views over the city. Then venture off the beaten path onto the charming back streets to walk through the neighborhoods of Lisbon. For a day at the beach, visit Caiscais with its old fishing village ambiance. And make sure to visit the Belem neighborhood to see the monastery and monuments, and to buy one of the famous pastries they make there!
