Benidorm

A few years ago Benidorm was a small village concerned with fishing. Today it is a major holiday resort with towering blocks of hotels catering to the package holiday market. The beaches are teeming with visitors in high season, and during winter it is a popular destination for older people due to the warm climate. There are bars, restaurants and night clubs all over town and Benidorm is a great destination for a holiday in the sun. There are historic parts of the town and some interesting local museums but the main focus in Benidorm is the beach.
