Logrono

Logrono is a busy modern city with elegant streets and squares. The old quarter is quite lively with its historic streets, intimate cafes and dominated by the twin towered Cathedral de Santa Marta la Redonda. The old town is very different from the rows of shops and has an energy all of its own. Logrono is a town that many people pass through in Castille and has historically been connected with the Camino de Santiago. The town is also at the heart of the Rioja wine industry and a great place to taste the produce.
