Malaga is the second largest city in Southern Spain and was once a simple fishing port. Today it is a popular holiday destination as an arrivals centre for the Costa del Sol. There are historic parts to the city including the Moorish Alcazaba which was the residence of the Arab rulers of Malaga. The Gibralfaro Castle is another prominent attraction in Malaga. The town is also known for its beautiful restaurants, particularly fresh seafood and is a great place to enjoy the regional cuisine after a day touring Andalucia.
