Murcia

Murcia has been an important trading centre for centuries. Dominated by its beautiful cathedral the town also has the well known Museo Salzillo which houses statues used in the Murcia Holy Week processions. Murcia has a popular casino and there are many good bars and restaurants in town. Located on the Rio Segura it is surrounded by mountains and a good base for an activity based holiday. Murcia has a number of towns and attractions within a short driving distance and the Mediterranean is also just a day trip away.
