Nuria

Nuria has some fabulous views over the Pyrenees and can be reached using the famous Cremellara Train. At Nuria the Santuario de Nuestra Senyora de Nuria is the centre point and founded where an image of the Virgin was reputed to have been found. There are religious ceremonies here and particularly on 8^th September. There are a few places to eat in Nuria and to gather the ingredients for a picnic. Many people come here for skiing in season and for hiking. There are some excellent trails through the mountains with spectacular scenery in the Pyrenees.
