Port Bou

Just 3km from the French border Port Bou is best approached by road to appreciate its charm and location. The view over the green hills towards the bay is wonderful and the town can be reached on foot from nearby Colera. There are some beautiful old back streets to explore, the harbour to wander around and lots of very good open air restaurants selling freshly caught seafood. There are coves and small beaches around the coastline and a wealth of souvenir shops in town in this charming border location between France and Spain.
