Salamanca

Salamanca is considered to be the most graceful city in Spain and for centuries was the location of one of the world’s best universities. Even today the city has an academic air about it and a learning culture. Salamanca has unique and typical architectural styles which are Churrigueresque and Plateresque relating to different periods of architectural history. The Plaza Mayor is the centre of town and the two cathedrals stunning with tapas bars and cafes to try regional specialties and local wines. This is a beautiful city to explore and full of history.
