Toledo

Toledo is one of the greatest cities in Spain and was at one time the nation’s capital. Its location on a rocky outcrop is stunning and dramatic and there are houses and churches all perched into narrow streets making the place spectacular and intriguing to explore. Toledo’s cathedral is magnificent and a must see in this city, The Alcazar or old fortress is another interesting building to see in Toledo. With museums, good markets and excellent bars and restaurants this is a wonderful destination to see Spain at its best.
