Although the second largest island in Scotland it is easy to traverse in a day by car giving a wonderful opportunity to see all that the island has to offer at leisure. Accommodation on the island come mostly in the form of B&B’s and hotels and there are options to suit every budget, where you stay mostly depends on what you are looking to do; Portree is the largest town on the island and houses a number of good quality restaurants and hotels but if you are seeking a more isolated holiday that that you should head to lovely Dunvegan to visit the castle and enjoy the peaceful loch.
