More relaxed than most of its neighbours, Bahrain is fast becoming one of the places in the Gulf to shop, party, dive and relax, highlighted by the growing popularity of the annual Bahrain Grand Prix.

Manama City is alive with late night bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Once you recover from the night before, shop the Soukh for textiles, jewelry, spices and more. Don’t leave before seeing the National Museum and the Bahrain Fort. Get out into the desert and go to the Al-Areen Wildlife Park or check out the Tree of Life. A must-see example of modern Bahrain is the King Fahad Causeway, an incredible bridge connecting Bahrain to Saudi Arabia.
