Iraq

Iraq is a country in the Middle East, and is currently a war zone. As a result, few governments allow their citizens to travel to the country for fear that they may be hurt while in Iraq. The north east provinces are considered safer than the rest of the country, but caution is advised for anyone travelling to Iraq. The travel industry in the country has been badly damaged through wars and instability over the last few decades, and it is truly a pity for the people who live there and those wanting to visit, as Iraq is the birthplace of many civilizations, and as a result there is much ancient history to discover.
