Israel
Israel is a small country in the Middle East it is bordered by Egypt and the Gaza Strip. The country is significant to the three major religions of the world, Islam, Judaism and Christianity, and as such it is a very interesting and historically rich area. Israel is a modern and urbanised country, but there are also some naturally beautiful areas, like the Machtesh Ramon, a 40km long landform from which visitors have scenic views of the desert. Another of these incredible sights is the Rosh Haniqra, a white coastal rock cliff formation on the northern coast of the country.
