Tel Aviv

Located on the shores of the Mediterranean, Tel Aviv is a modern city with much for a tourist to do. The many restaurants in the area offer a variety of Israeli and international food. The beach area is popular with visitors, while the city has a number of parks to visit including Independence Park, Charles Clore Park and Hayarkon Park. The Yarkon National Park is close to the beaches and port area. Maccabi Tel Aviv is one of the most successful basketball teams in the European Leagues and they play their home games at Nokia Arena. Tourists will also want to see Bialik House, shop at HaTikva Market or Dizengoff Center shopping mall and spend time in the Botanical Gardens.
