Lake Louise

Pictured on many postcards and visited by millions of people from around the world, Lake Louise and the Chateau Lake Louise is a must-see destination. The Chateau Lake Louise is one of the architectural wonders that were built in Canada by the Canadian Pacific Railway. It is around a hundred years old. It is part of the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts company. What visitors notice about the waters of the lake is the colour. Lake Louise is very bright and reflective, with colours that change with the angle of view as well as the position of the sun. Blue, emerald, turquoise and aquamarine are some of the terms used to describe it.
