Medicine Hat

Located on the Trans-Canada Highway, Medicine Hat is a popular place for tourists to stop and enjoy the scenery. The Cypress Hills and South Saskatchewan River are two natural features to enjoy. There are more than one hundred parks in the area for hiking and other activities. The Saamis Tepee is something that visitors to Medicine Hat will not miss, it is considered to be the largest tepee ever constructed. Events to attend in Medicine Hat include the Medicine Hat JazzFest and the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede. To the south, Montana is not far away while Saskatchewan is close to the east.
