Sunshine Village Ski Resort

Straddling the two provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, the 3,300 acres of terrain at Sunshine Village Ski Resort gives visitors the experience of skiing into and out of them!

Situated in the Banff National Park, it has the highest elevation of all of Canada’s resorts and gets up to a massive 9 metres or 30 feet of snow during the season. The snow is dry and lasts through the whole season which is from December to May.

All ability levels are catered for at Sunshine Village from gentle beginners slopes to those keen to experience advanced runs. Delirium Dive has been voted as one of the top ten off-piste ski runs in the world. Getting people to where the fun starts is made all the easier with high speed quad chair lifts and gondolas

There is some ski-in ski-out accommodation but the cozy town of Banff, with its stunning views of the mountains around, offers even more accommodation options.

Also close to Sunshine Village is Mt Norquay and Lake Louise which gives skiers and boarders plenty of options to choose the best place to spend the day. You certainly won’t get bored here.

The longest run is 8 kilometres or 5 miles.
