Vegreville

Many locations across Canada have unique roadside attractions but the Vegreville Pysanka stands out from the crowd. Visit Vegreville, Alberta to see the Ukrainian Easter egg which is a monument to the RCMP. The dimensions of the Vegreville Pysanka are 31 feet high, 25.7 feet long and 18 feet wide. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth unveiled a plaque at the site in 1978, to commemorate her visit to Vegreville. Along with gardens and parks, visit Vegreville for the Vegreville Regional Museum. The museum has a vintage toy collection. The Elk Island National Park has many bison, bears, beavers, moose and elk.
