Hope

When travelling through BC, fans of the movie First Blood should stop in Hope. The movie starring Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo, Richard Crenna as Colonel Sam Trautman, David Caruso as Deputy Mitch and Brian Dennehy as Sheriff Will Teasle was filmed in Hope as well as Golden Ears Provincial Park and Pitt Lake. Several other movies were filmed around Hope including the Sidney Poitier movie Shoot to Kill. Some of the attractions in Hope include the Hope Museum, Chainsaw Carving Gallery and Historic Christ Church Anglican. Manning Park Resort is close to Hope. Tourists will want to visit the Fraser River and Coquihalla River.
