Kelowna is situated on Okanagan Lake and tourists will want to visit the nine beaches there and go fishing and boating in this pristine environment. During the winter months, head to the nearby hills for skiing and snowboarding fun. The Tom Green movies Shred and Shred 2 were filmed in the area. To view all of Kelowna, travel in a hot air balloon along the Okanagan Valley. Agriculture is an important part of Kelowna and tourists can visit the Davison Orchards, Arlo’s Honey Farm, Gatzke’s Farm Market, The Jammery as well as vineyards and local cheese makers.
