Prince Rupert

Prince Rupert, British Columbia is a stop for many cruise ships going along the coast by the Inside Passage. Often the cruise ships’ passengers will disembark and join a tour around the Prince Rupert region. Some will choose to board a boat and search for whales in the waters around Prince Rupert. Seals, Killer Whales and other sea creatures also swim in the waters near Prince Rupert. Other visitors will join a group heading off to the nearby Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary. Visitors travel on boats through the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary and are able to view Grizzly Bears and Black Bears in their natural setting.
