Red Mountain

Red Mountain is an un-crowded friendly resort situated in British Colombia but close to the American border. Its spread over 4200 acres and is ski and snowboard friendly.

Red Mountain is powder heaven and it offers excellent terrain for all ability levels. Its two mountain peaks are Red and Granite Mountains. You can carve some great lines on excellent slopes, in the powder glades and bowls or on groomed slopes.

Beginners can learn or improve their techniques on the wide gentle slopes. When ready to progress, there is an excellent choice of intermediate runs. For the experts, there’s some exciting terrain. Snowboarders will enjoy the six acre terrain park.

The instructors offer good value and are available to teach visitors how to ski or snowboard or refine techniques.

The town of Rossland, which is just 3 kilometres from Red Mountain, is picture perfect. There is accommodation, shopping and a good choice of restaurants in Rossland.

The range of accommodation at the base of the mountain includes condominiums, chalets and lodges. In the town of Rossland there is additional accommodation.

Other activities around the area include cat skiing, cross country and backcountry skiing.

Terrain: 15% beginner, 40% intermediate, 45% advanced. There are 88 trails. The longest run is 7 kilometers.
