Revelstoke Mountain Resort

Revelstoke is a relatively new ski resort and for those who hanker after an un-crowded winter snow vacation, this resort is sure to please. This is a steep mountain with a great reputation for its light dry powder snow. The season is from late November to late April.

The resort now offers hi speed quad chair lifts and gondolas. Revelstoke is more suited to those of intermediate to advanced ability and those who crave thrilling off-piste adventures with outstanding scenery en route.

Other options include heli skiing for those seeking white powder skiing. There is also a growing fan base for back country cat skiing which is available during winter months.

The drive to Revelstoke will take you through spectacular countryside with towering mountain peaks around you. It is approximately 7 hours from Vancouver or 4 ¾ hours from Calgary.

Some ski-in ski-out accommodation is available. The town of Revelstoke is in a valley surrounded by high mountains and there are many rooms available to suit just about all budgets.

At the resort, there’s a pedestrian only village with specialty boutiques to satisfy those shopping needs and a good selection of restaurants.

10% beginner, 42% intermediate, 48% advanced. The longest run is 15.2 kilometers.
