West Vancouver

To get to West Vancouver people need to travel over the Lions Gate Bridge and that is also a tourist attraction. The bridge opened in 1938 and is now considered a National Historic Site of Canada. The Lions Gate Bridge spans the First Narrows of Burrard Inlet, its great height above the water allows large cruise ships and other vessels to easily pass below it. The bridge is open to pedestrian traffic. West Vancouver’s Park Royal Shopping Centre is located near the Lions Gate Bridge and is popular with shoppers, both local and tourists who are visiting. The Bay and Winners are two of the larger stores at the Park Royal Shopping Centre.
