Brandon

The second largest city in the province, Brandon is famous for the Assiniboine River and farming. The Assiniboine Riverbank Trail System is popular with tourists as they can walk along nearly twenty kilometres of paths and tracks. The Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba is in Brandon and hosts the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair as well as the Manitoba Summer Fair and Manitoba Livestock Expo. The Royal Manitoba Winter Fair has equestrian events, animal judging and many special events and shows. Brandon is also home to the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum, with a Lysander and Tiger Moth on display, and the Daly House Museum.
