Flin Flon

A city known for its mining industry, Flin Flon is on the border of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Many tourists will visit the lakes around Flin Flon. The Flin Flon Trout Festival is a big event every year, it has been running for over six decades. A very unique landmark is the Statue of Josiah Flintabbatey Flonatin. Visitors will also want to see the Bakers Narrows Provincial Park, Flinty’s Boardwalk, the Flin Flon Station Museum and Hapnot Lake Wildlife Sanctuary. If visiting Flin Flon in winter, watch for the Aurora Borealis. Famous hockey player Bobby Clarke was born in Flin Flon, he had a long career with the Philadelphia Flyers.
