Burlington

Burlington, Ontario is a wonderful place to take a break from travelling. When driving from Toronto to Niagara Falls, stop at Burlington for a meal and some shopping. A popular place to visit is The Waterfront at Burlington Downtown and also the Brant St. Pier. Visit Burlington on the Labour Day weekend and take part in the festival called Canada’s Largest Ribfest. Over four days, some of the tastiest food around is eaten by thousands of people. Canada’s Largest Ribfest also raises money for charity. Burlington was home to actor and comedian Jim Carrey, for eight years during his youth.
