Cobden

Cobden, Ontario is a small community that offers tourists a chance to take a break when going along the Trans-Canada Highway and to experience farming and nature. The Cobden Farmer’s Market provides fresh produce for locals and visitors and is located at the Cobden fairgrounds. During summer, the Cobden Fair is held there with plenty of entertainment, exhibits and animals on show. Muskrat Lake is a popular spot for tourists to visit, it is a very good spot for fishing, as are the Muskrat and Snake Rivers. Cobden is a historic area that was visited by French explorer Samuel de Champlain in the 1600s.
