Kingston

The City of Kingston is said to be the place “where history and innovation thrive” and there is plenty of historic sites for visitors to view. Portsmouth Village, Fort Henry, Kingston City Hall and Frontenac County Court House are popular with tourists who want to see the architecture of the past. There are many free walking tours to enjoy around Kingston. A lot of the history of Kingston involved the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario, many shipwrecks in the area can be explored by scuba diving while Kingston also hosts many sailing events. Kingston was the birthplace of singer Bryan Adams.
