Many tourists go to Morrisburg, Ontario to visit the Upper Canada Village Heritage Park. Visitors are transported back to the 1860s as they explore the village’s historical buildings. Asselstine’s Woollen Factory, Christ Church, Union Cheese Factory, Willard’s Hotel and Beach’s Sawmill are just some of the places there to visit. Wearing clothing of the time, the park’s guides show how the tasks of the 1860s were done as they shoe horses, grind flour and do many other things. Something for the entire family to take part in is dressing up in historical costumes and getting a picture taken.
