Owen Sound

Visitors to Owen Sound will want to explore the natural beauty of the area and they don’t need to go far to find it. Famous Harrison Park is located in the city itself and is forty hectares of trees, walking trails, lawns and a river. To the south of the park is Inglis Falls. Two other waterfalls are located in the Owen Sound area, they are Jones’ Falls and Indian Falls. The Parrish & Heimbecker Grain Terminal is located at Owen Sound Harbour. Ships arrive to collect the grain and then leave via Owen Sound Bay and then Georgian Bay to join the Great Lakes.
