Sarnia is an important border crossing as the enormous Bluewater Bridge links Canada with the United States of America at Port Huron, Michigan. Tourists who stop by the shore of St. Clair River will often take a few pictures of the Bluewater Bridge and its giant arch. Built in 1938, a near-identical bridge was built beside the original in 1999 so the Bluewater Bridge is actually two bridges. Visitors to Sarnia will also explore the nearby wilderness areas like the Pinery Provincial Park and not only are there activities to partake in on the St. Clair River but also Lake Huron.
