Sault Ste. Marie

Sault Ste. Marie is linked to Michigan by the Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge, and the city on the United States side is also called Sault Ste. Marie. Tourists can view the shipping traffic that travels through the locks. Sault Ste. Marie is the location of the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre that has dozens of planes on display, including flying boats, seaplanes and ski-equipped aircraft that were used to travel over the rugged landscape of the area. The Sault Ste. Marie Museum is in downtown Sault Ste. Marie and situated in a brilliant sandstone building with a clock tower on top.
