Mont-Tremblant

For a village-like atmosphere reminiscent of the picture perfect ski resorts in Europe, head for Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada.

Mont-Tremblant is just one hour from Montreal-Trudeau International Airport or you can fly into Mont-Tremblants’ own international airport, to be out on the slopes soon after leaving the airport.

The 95 runs cater to all levels from beginners to advanced. Experts are well catered for here as half of the runs are designed to challenge advanced skiers.

There is over 654 acres of skiable terrain and 14 state-of-the-art lifts to get you to the slopes, ready for a run down, without fuss. Its longest run is the Nansen which is 6 kilometres or 3.75 miles.

Mont-Tremblant has a first tracks program with an early morning express gondolier ready to take you to make the first marks of the day.

The pretty cobbled streets of the pedestrian shopping mall at the bottom of the slopes will beckon you to linger awhile at the end of a day on the mountain. In the town area there’s a wide range of cuisine on offer which includes French, Asian, Mexican and Italian.

In the evening, options include enjoying a movie or browsing the many art galleries. Horse back riding, sleigh rides, snowshoeing or dog sledding are all available at Mont-Tremblant.
