Huntsville

Huntsville, Alabama is a city whose history is linked to the Civil War and later the Manned Space Flight Program. The Twickenham Historic District, the Old Town Historic District and the Five Points Historical District feature a huge display of architecture in the antebellum, federal and Greek revival styles. Home to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, a must-see for tourists is the Saturn I and Saturn V exhibits. Children will enjoy participating in the U.S. Space Camp and Aviation Challenge programs sponsored by the center. Another great place to take the kids is the Early Works Museum and the Sci-Quest, which are interactive museums to entertain the whole family.
