Aurora

Aurora, Illinois is home to four historic centers which display historical architecture, quaint shops, handmade goods, restaurants and cafes. Known as the “City of Lights,” Aurora was one of the first cities in the United States to have electric street lights. For those who enjoy gaming, guests will want to visit one of the many riverboat casinos which dot the banks of the river. Theater goers have a selection of many established theaters which present shows with live music, Broadway style, comedy, opera and ballet. There are also many museums to keep everyone busy.
