Wichita

Wichita, Kansas earned its name “Air Capitol of the World” because of the legendary aeronautical developers who once resided in the city. Visitors to the area must spend time in Old Town, which is chockfull of renovated warehouse and the home of many restaurants, clubs, bars, theatres and condominiums. A popular draw each year, the Wichita River Festival is held each summer and is enlivened by live music, food, parades and fireworks.
