Jersey City

Located just across the river from New York City, Jersey City is a worthwhile destination no matter what visitors are looking for in their vacations. Full of shopping venues, museums, theaters and outdoor spaces, there is plenty to do no matter whether guests have an hour or several days to visit. The nightlife is an experience not to be missed and, for the history seeker, take a boat ride to Ellis Island or Liberty State Park.  Also, once a stop on the Underground Railroad, visitors will be fascinated as they walk in the steps of slaves on their way to freedom.
