Paterson

Known as the “Silk City”, Paterson, New Jersey was a major silk producer during the early part of the 20^th century. One of the most sought after tourist attractions in the area is the Lambert Castle Museum, which is the restored home of silk mogul Catholina Lambert. The home is reminiscent of medieval architecture and definitely a crowd pleaser. This is definitely a city to be visited by those who have an interest in architecture and history. With its many homes and landmarks on the National Registry of Historic Places, a walking tour is the best way to take in all of the sights.
