Waco

Waco, Texas is located along the riverbank of the Brazos River and not too far from the cities of Dallas and Austin. Home to Baylor University, Waco is a relatively small city with plenty of activities to keep the college crowd entertained. A definite must-see when traveling in the area is the Dr. Pepper Museum. Dr. Pepper is a very popular soft drink throughout the United States, which was born in the Waco area. Another fascinating find in the area is the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum, which commemorates the rich history of the law enforcement agency which keeps Texas safe to this day, the Texas Rangers.
