Deer Valley

The snows mighty fine at Deer Valley and the trails well groomed. You know that when ski resorts have been chosen to hold prestigious events like the winter Olympic Games, the snow and terrain will be excellent and varied. Deer Valley hosted the 2002 Olympic Slalom, Mogul and Aerial Events.

It is spread over four mountains so there is something here for every level and, with a season lasting from early December to mid April, there’s plenty of time to explore the 1750 acres.

Beginners have their own area On Bald Eagle Mountain where the Wide West has been set aside so they can find their balance and build confidence. When beginners are ready for something more challenging there’s a great choice of well graded intermediate runs.

Cross country skiing affords nature lovers with an opportunity to explore wide open expanses.
Helicopter and snowcat skiing is available for the more adventurous or those keen to challenge themselves in virgin territory.

To complete the package there’s great ski-in ski-out accommodation. For nightlife head to nearby Park City.
