Located on the north bank of the Columbia River, Vancouver, Washington shares its name with its larger counterpart across the border in Canada. The city hosts a wide selection of activities throughout the year which draw crowds from all over the United States and the World. In July, celebrate the nation’s birthday with the Fourth of July Fireworks display at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. The area also produces fantastic wines and in August the city celebrates with the Vancouver Wine and Jazz Festival. Enjoy a day sampling and tasting the produce of the local wineries.
