Belo Horizonte

Located inland in southeastern Brazil, Belo Horizonte has a population of around 5.4 million people in its metropolitan area. The sprawling city is bordered on each side by mountains, making for a beautiful skyline. Decedents from Italy, Germany and Spain make up a large portion of the population giving the city a distinctly European vibe. The city is a business hub for the tech sector and many multinational companies have offices here. Tourism isn’t nearly as prevalent here as other Brazilian cities on the coast, however many business travelers frequent the city.
