Campinas

Located on a Plateau north of the massive city of Sao Paulo, Campinas is a growing city and home to many multinational companies. The city is not particularly rich in history and is not located on the famous pristine Brazilian beaches, making tourism here less popular than in other cities in Brazil. Many of the travelers, who do come to Campinas, do so for business. Since the city is not overrun with tourism however, it is a great place to see the real people of Brazil and enjoy a more authentic experience. Its close proximity to Sao Paulo makes it an easy stopover when in Brazil.
