Concepcion

Concepcion is well known in recent years for the massive earthquake that struck in February of 2010. Though the earthquake was incredibly strong at a magnitude 8.8, the city was remarkably resilient to the effects, although tragically 521 people were killed. Concepcion is a modern city with a rich history. As a main business and financial capital in Chile, Concepcion is well positioned in the thriving economy of Chile. With gorgeous natural surroundings, tourists and expatriates are taking note and the city is seeing an influx in tourism and foreign investment in recent years.
