Iquique

Located on the coast in Northern Chile, Iquique is home to over 200,000 residents. The coastal city is nestled into the coast between the mountains and the sea making it an extremely beautiful location. The approach to the city by bus is breathtaking as you are perched high above the city on a mountain road overlooking the skyline next to the ocean. The north Chilean coast is known as a place where many wealthy Chileans get away from the city for some R&R on the beach.  The city is a great stopover for those traveling in northern Chile.
